We headed to the Denver Zoo on our third day in Colorado. We are studying animals for our homeschool science this year, so it is a great time to visit a zoo. The children had just learned about bears the week before, so they were especially interested in the bear exhibits. The highlight of the day for Eli was the five minute train ride. It was a great day at the zoo!
